Our new year has already been an eventful one! Between Bryan's work schedule, my school schedule, and Hylind's activities, we are QUITE busy! Bryan has been working LONG hours as usual, BUT we are hoping to get his leave approved so we can go home to Idaho in the middle of February. I gradute from my business program the end of February, so I have been VERY busy trying to finish mmy program on a good note.
Hylind started gymnastics a couple weeks ago and absolutely LOVES IT! Her very first class was a LITTLE rough, but this week she did much better. She learns how to stretch properly, swing on bars, do floor work, rope climb, and SOOOOOO much more. I am a good mommy and take notes during class so I know what to help her with for the next week. We practice everyday and she improved so much just in one week! I am looking forward to seeing how she does at the end of the 8 weeks. She will also be starting a Pre-Preschool class hopefully in February. She is dying to interact with children her age and between gymnastics and school, I think she will get the interaction she needs.
Minot is still MINOT, and we are waiting for our next transfer. We don't mind being here in the boonies, but it will be nice when we get orders to head to another base. I don't know if it was the recent -47 degree weather we had, or the 6 foot snow drifts, but we are thinking it is definitely time for a change of scenery!!!!!!!!!!!! Until next time..........:)
