Winter*Fun

Thanksgiving is getting so close and it is going to be my VERY FIRST year cooking a Thanksgiving dinner all by myself. I am actually very nervous because Bryan and I are having some friends over to have dinner together. (Not a good time to be experimenting eh?) We have out Christmas decorations up and about a week ago we finished by putting the tree up. Hylind and daddy got to put the star up. We have lights outside and in, and out little house is actually quite cute and cozy. Today, we finished ALLLLLL of our Christmas shopping! As we bought out last gift, there was a sense of relief over the both of us.... No more money to spend! :) It was a record to have it done before Thanksgiving. Hylind is still growing and learning new things every day. The other day she learned to say "Shut up!" BUT it was not in the rude way it is meant for. She would laugh and laugh and say "Shut up mommy!" when I was making her laugh too much. Oh how I wish I had the innocence of a child! She is such a sweet little blessing and I cannot believe she is MINE! She is perfect in every way and I love getting to spend every day with her. She misses me when I am gone, and asks for daddy when he is away. We are so blessed to be loved by her!

Bryan is still working hard as ever. He puts in A LOT of hours which I don't mind as much anymore. I am getting use to the long hours and we have all learned to make the most of the the time we have together, however little that may be. He is enjoying his job and we couldn't ask to be in a better spot in our lives.
Minot is growing slowly but surely on us. We got our first snow a couple of weeks ago which was a good couple feet in some places that yes came over night. It had melted away in a couple of days. Today we got our second snow and we are hoping it stays. The snow is actually really pretty here and the winter is not TOO BAD if you minus the bone freezing wind.
