From the Beginning

I am pretty new to this "blogging" concept, but since everyone I know has one I figured it was about time to create one from the beginning.

Bryan and I met November 18, 2006 through a mutual friend. There is quite the "history" behind the story, BUT we don't need to get too detailed into it. We spent every second we could together and soon became inseperabel. He said " I love you" 6 days after the first time we met (not after our first date:), proposed four weeks later on Christmas, and we were married April 21, 2007. We had a beautiful wedding and it began the start of our VERY new life together. We didn't know each other well, but we knew enough about one another that we knew we couldn't live without the other in our life.

We had our beautiful baby girl December 13, 2007 after 42 PAINFUL hours of labor. It was a very hard pregnancy, and an even more difficult labor. She was admitted to the NICU for the first 8 hours of her life and it was devastating to know I couldn't hold my baby girl. We decided to name her Hylind Louise, or Lindy Lou, after her Grandma Barzee. She is our pride and joy and is constantly keeping us on our toes. She loves her Dora, Diego, Elmo, and Spongebob movies and she loves to learn and interact with others. She is quite the "mommy" figure already and is waiting for the chance to have a brother or a sister in her little life.

July 25, 2009 our little family was sealed in the Rexburg Idaho temple. It was the most amazing day of my life. I can't believe I waited 2 years to get to that point in my life, but it was definitely an amazing experience. Nothing is more satisfying and comforting than knowing I will always be with my husband and daughter and NOTHING will be able to seperate us.

Bryan joined the Air Force in 2009, and is a military cop. We are currently stationed at Minot Air Force Base in North Dakota after 8 SLOW months of training in San Antonia, Texas. The small area is beginning to grow on us, and we enjoy the friendships we have made here. It is not the community we are use to, but we are trying to make the best of it. With only two small wards in a 40 mile radius, our testimonies are constantly tried and tested. It is a great place to learn who we are and what direction our lives want to be headed.

We are very excited to see what the military life has to offer us in the future!
